Shotgun Wedding

Although there were shotguns present it was obvious that they would not be needed to encourage the marriage of August and Karissa. It was very clear how much these two loved each other and were meant to be together. Mary and I had an amazing time capturing their beautiful day on July 25th at Kent Park located just west of Tiffin on Highway 6. Kent Park offers endless opportunities to be creative with the many scenic backgrounds around the park. The Black Eyed Susies were in full bloom and made for some spectacular backgrounds.

Thank you to Karissa, August, and their families for making us part of their amazing day!

Sit back and enjoy the slideshow!

Wow – the black-eyed susans were indeed stunning. Those are some GREAT shots in that field and with the reflection of the water at sunset. Beautiful! You can really see the progression of your photography, and the building of your artistic eye and skill, even in just the postings so far…. NICE WORK!

This is a great reminder of the wedding day. It’s so much better that the solemn poses in the church, prettied up with a few “double exposures”. It’s vibrant, just as the day would truly be. It’s hard to beat Kent Park for a setting, too. I wish I had photos like this of my own outdoor wedding 28 years ago! We didn’t want anything formal so we just ended up with snapshots.
